ASI Distribution Pte Ltd (ASI) together with its major Indonesia dealer, DKM, engaged some 200 audio and audiovisual specialists from recording, rental firms and houses of worship in a two-day AKG workshop held in Novotel Hotel, Solo in 26 May 2009 and Diana Music Office, Jogja in 28 May 2009 respectively.

 

The workshop was held to create awareness on AKG wired and wireless microphone systems and lock-in ties with Solo and Jogja customers.

 

Among the models displayed were Perception series, C 12, C 4500, C 1000 S, C5, C12, C214, C 430, D5, D 7, D 11, D 22, K 44, K 77, K 141, K 171, K 271, HT 4500, SR 4500, PT 4500 and WMS 450. Andre Budiman and Tanto Sulianto of DKM were the facilitators.

 

DKM’s Rendra Setyono said that the turn-out and positive response of customers at the workshop will be maximized with more sales and marketing efforts in the said territories.  “We have plans to follow it through with an AKG Corner Launch in Jogja in a few months time. Meanwhile, we will maintain our support to our existing Solo and Jogja dealers,” added Rendra.
